Amber Chan is a passionate music educator with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Music Studies from Hong Kong Baptist University. With more than eight years of experience teaching young children, she specializes in piano, vocal training, ukulele, and guitar instruction. Amber's teaching philosophy centers on creating a fun and engaging learning environment where students can explore their musical potential. Her patient and nurturing approach helps young learners build confidence, develop essential skills, and cultivate a lifelong love for music.
Ivan Yeung
Available dates: Monday, Thursday, Sunday

introduced to the piano at the age of 4. He has taught in the University of Toronto’s Piano Pedagogy Program for the past 7 years. Ivan currently holds a Bachelor of Piano Performance degree and Master of Music degree in Piano Pedagogy both from the University of Toronto.
Wesley Yang

A graduate from York University with a degree in Music, Wesley is a musician who is currently teaching at Purcell Music School. Started from a young age, he has learned music from various teachers and in turn fueled his drive to pursue teaching as a career. Wesley has performed in various public piano settings, competitions and exams allowing him to spread his knowledge to future students. He has taught students of all ages and is looking forward to bringing joy in learning music and piano.​

Alexandra Los

Location: Dufferin campus​
Alexandra Los has been teaching piano and music theory for over 10 years. She holds the Bachelor in Music Education from the University of Toronto, and the Bachelor of Education from York University. Also an Ontario Certified Teacher. Through her studies both in Royal Conservatory and University, she participated in numerous exams, auditions, recitals and competitions, performing solo, duets and collaborative works with violin, horn, cello and voice. She has held positions in various teaching institutions.
Emily Zhou

She had the privilege of learning from distinguished professors, including Marina Mdivani, Carmen Piard, and Lydia Wong, each contributing to her artistic development in unique ways. She holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance at the esteemed University of Toronto.
Over the years, she has passionately developed teaching techniques that cater to the individual needs and aspirations of her diverse students. The cornerstones of her approach are patience, encouragement, and personalized attention.
