Private Lessons students may reschedule 1 make up lessons every TWO MONTHS

There is no make up lessons for group lessons.

Please provide at least 24 hour written notice prior to the start of the originally scheduled lesson time to purcellmusicschool@gmail.com

Private lessons cancelled with less than 24-hours notice will not be made up by the teacher and will be considered forfeited. Refunds will not be issued for such lessons.

Make up lesson could not tap into next month lesson. Once a reschedule time is set, it may not be changed again. 

Make-up lessons must be claimed by the end of the term and are unredeemable afterwards. 

If lessons are discontinued, any/all outstanding school term make-up lessons are forfeited.

Once a student uses their valid make-up credits for the term, any other cancellations will be charged as regular lessons and no further make-ups will be issued for the term. 

Teacher will try every effort to honour the time slot reserved for the semester. If teacher cancel for lessons due to personal reasons, and such lessons will be rescheduled by mutual consent.

Make up lessons may be delivered by a teacher other than the student’s principal teacher. 

For the well being of fellow students, teacher will request to send student home if the student is sick.

When student used up the make up lessons, or the notice could not provide within 24 hours, online lesson could be alternative to a missed lesson. 

​Tuition Fee- Payments in full are due 1st day of bi-month. If payment is not received for any reason, student will receive an email notification. Payment in full will be required within 2 days, student will be charged a $20 admin fee and the student will not be permitted to attend lessons until the payment is received.

Material and Activity Fees - Fees for books, materials, are not included in tuition and will be billed separately. Teachers will do their best to notify you of these specific fees before registering.  

The lesson will not be make up for lateness. Please make every attempt to arrive a few minutes before your lesson time.

If a student is more than 15-minutes late, the teacher is not obligated to continue waiting for the student and the lesson will be forfeited. 

If weather conditions do not allow student to travel, online lessons will be offered.

If the student wishes to terminate his/her enrollment, he/she must provide notice of cancellation in writing at least one month prior to the intended termination date.

Purcell Music School occasionally records and photographs our students. This material is used for our website, social media, newsletter, and print marketing materials. By enrolling at Purcell Music School, you automatically consent to the above. If you do not consent to the above, you may opt out by sending an email to purcellmusicschoo@gmail.com

Parents/legal guardians are responsible for students under the age of 18 who are attending lessons or activities on Purcell Music School premises.

Parents are welcomed to sit in with the private lesson.  If parent prefer to drop off, parents are expected to wait outside of the lesson room at least 5 minutes before schedule lessons ends. Purcell Music School is NOT responsible for before and after students scheduled lessons time.
